Dark_Genome 212 asked: I have a Sony Vaio Desktop running Windows XP Media Center Edition with Service Pack 3 and it has 1 gig of RAM. My computer is about 4 years old, and it is running fine. But not as good as when i first bought it. I was thinking of buying another gig of RAM which would cost me about $30 - 40$. I am planning to save up to buy a new ipod to replace my lost one, but i was thinking it may be worth the $30 - $40 dollars if it would make my computer run better? Also, how would i know, which gig of RAM would best suite my computer. Cause i saw different brands, and I wasn’t sure which i should get, and if there is a certain specifications that would i need to look for. Many ran as much as $100 just for 1 gig or RAM. Thanks in advance.
How do i find out how much RAM my motherboard can support?
